"[A]ll artists . . . live off faith. You hear a note but have to have the faith that you will hear the next one. Or tell you where to find the next note."

Comments: U2 plays in Denver 32 years and one day after the band's famous show at the nearby Red Rocks Amphitheater, which was captured on Under A Blood Red Sky. He references it during "Sunday Bloody Sunday," singing "32 years away ... yesterday" and a couple other times during the show, including a lengthy talk about the filming of that show before "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."

Larry accidentally starts playing "Desire" before the band switches to "Mysterious Ways." When they do play "Desire," Bono dedicates the song to Broncos QB Peyton Manning, who's reportedly at the show. As Edge tests the piano before "Every Breaking Wave," Bono mentions how he filled time by telling jokes during technical issues at Wednesday's show in Los Angeles and tells the crowd a joke tonight: "How do you get a fish high? Sea-weed." (rimshot!) Bono uses a bullhorn -- that's painted in the colors of the American flag -- to deliver much of his rap during "Bullet The Blue Sky."

Seats in the 300 level at both ends of the arena, behind the main stage and behind the e-stage, are blocked off with giant black curtains.
