Comments: U2 opens the Later... With Jools Holland program on BBC 2 with the first live performance of "Volcano," and then does "Every Breaking Wave" to close the live show. A third song, "California (There Is No End To Love)," makes its live debut, too, but doesn't air until the hour-long, recorded version of the show on Friday, October 24. That show also ends with U2 performing an unknown instrumental track, that Edge later revealed in a radio interview (see the 25:00 mark) to be something the band is working on for Songs Of Experience, the expected next album.
