its been over a week since manchester and we really thought this concert would be off due to bonos fathers death.travelled down on morning of concert and made way to venue intime for show starting.what happened when the show started was nothing short of this concert we saw bono being lifted by the spirit of the audience in his time of grief and bono in return delivering a breathtaking performance and being so moved by the occasion.the emotional high points were all bob related-kite again dedicated to him with the entire arena holding lighters aloft and bono singing the last of the opera stars at the end of the song in tribute.not a dry eye in the house.singing a verse from in my life halfway through the show had the beatles fan with me in floods and then the final part of one when he sang when will i see you again was simply beautiful.but this was a show which also rocked hard.out of control got the fists pumping in the air,the fly is fast becoming one of u2's best live songs and of course streets is just the greatest live song i have ever heard.interesting to see bono play piano on the sweetest thing tonight and the crowd lifting the roof off earls court at the end of all i want is you.this show is right up there with the shows at glasgows celtic park i witnessed on the zoo tv tour.thanks lads see you in glasgow at the secc on monday and tuesday
