"We wanted [Bono] to play guitar, although he insisted on singing. Now we know why -- because he didn't have to buy or move any equipment."

Yesterday I went to the 2nd Antwerp show.
After reading different reviews of previous concerts on this tour, my expectations were very high and I was very curious to see the
stripped down show.

In the past I attended 2 Zooropa show and 1 Popmartshow, which I found already incredible experiences.

But I must say, this one was better. First of all because of the "small" venue, which creates a cosy, intimate atmosphere and
the audience is really close to the scene and has a very good view and feels like really participating to the performance.
On top of that, the band was in great shape and performed brilliant versions of Sunday, Streets, Walk On etc...

Even a new (at least for me unknown) song was played before my favourite, which is One.

Crowd was enthusiastic and dancing and singing along for most of the time.

Lightshow and other effects (LED + curtains)
were perfectly integrated, but music remained the most important thing!!

Only 2 remarks: sound could be better (too loud in the beginning and a lot of echos in the arena) and I regret they didn't play neither "the fly" or "in a little while."

Overall, a perfect show and a wonderful experience!!
Keep going on for many years, guys.

Walter
